I would say they're doing pretty well in term of marketing (except IT
community is against Chinese product, but let's see how it will affect
Zing). But the question remains is if the product is good enough to
retain users. Big company normally wait until 2 rounds of beta (or more)
before going full force on marketing.
Actually, I agreed with Anh that Zing Chat's marketing is quite good.
However, as I personally asked some teens (Zing's target audience), they
either don't care or gave up after playing with Zing Chat for a while.
Last but not least, they are pretty annoyed with Zing Chat's floating
ads all over Vietnamese forums.
From my point of view, Vinagame's marketing is not outstanding at all.
The thing is they just copy the features of marketing camp in China...

Thanks for your blog, it 's definitely interesting, Mr Jason. It 's very
nice to meet you
We'll start from the bottom:
Roy - Marketing is mediocre at best - good job at annoying the target
audience. Word of advice, don't be such an ass kisser. No one cares if
you met Mr. Jason or not.
TestMe - should W.R.I.T.E something more.
Sonny & Anh - I now pronounce you husband and wife. Or is it
Pitcher and Catcher. And by the way, Zing Chat marketing is only great
at burning money.
Jason - Should do some research on QQ before you write. Do you even
understand why QQ works? stop regurgitating what you read on other
blogs and get some original thoughts.
The best part of Zing Chat marketing is the use of hot young ass.
Exclamation
Zing!
