Funding Options for Technology Startups
Since IDG Ventures Vietnam announced its investment in VC Corporation recently, many Vietnamese are wondering about VC Incubator model and how it is different from IDGVV's. A slide presentation by a founder of SlideShare could be an answer.

Seems like VCcorp is trying to be a big guy in Vietnam by doing a little
bit of everything. The new article in HarryD blog (harryd wordpress) did
not mention that VC has its own funding. Very interesting! I wonder who
will jump next into the social networking band wagon!

VCorp actually doesn't need money because they have so much money from
their parent - Vincomm (real estate group), Vcorp has enough money to
run operation without profit for a very long time. IDGVV's 2 mil is more
like a commitment to help Vcorp using their expertise in technology
industry.
