Hi Jason,
A quick look at these two points may help justifying your point:
1. Young users' tendency to show ego through page view
2. The amount of time Vietnamese young users spend on online activities
Regards,
Tai
@Chip: that includes expats as well.
The same mechanism gave me the estimation of around 300,000
Vietnam-related Facebook users. Don't be surprised by this
Immediate response:
Twitter clone for Vietnamese
http://qblog.vn
Just FYI, I haven't tested it yet.
Tai
Look like qblog.vn does not copy twitter by this

When we talk about cloning, we don't only (or actually) discuss
Technology. We refer to the Concept.
I will do it. But it have to be better than Twitter. I done
www.upcoming.vn before. The main features of this website is the same to
upcoming.org . Currently we are updating new features on it.
Please hold one for Twitter Vietnam.
Cheers,

I have a blog post answering your question
Here's the URL:
http://huyenchip.com/twitter-new-communication-standard/
In fact, Rick told me about the Hola.vn, but I don't like its platform
(Microsoft) while Twitter on Rails.
@chip: why not use trackback
