When talking about new web events people should think of Web 2.0 Expo in the US, LeWeb 3 in Europe and now come the first Internet event in Asia: Open Web Asia 2008 Conference. The Conference will be held at Sheraton Grande Walkerhill 14th Oct 2008 in Seoul, Korea in association with the 9th World Knowledge Forum. This is the first big event organized by by members of the Open Web Asia Workgroup and friends, partners within the Asian web industry. Details can be found on the official website OpenWebAsia.com. Confirmed speakers include some of the most experienced and knowledgeable people from the Asian internet industry and a selection of business leaders and thinkers from outside the region.
